Here, your ceremony, your welcome party, and your entire wedding weekend can happen on our ten-acre property: river beach, open-air event tent, and glamping accommodations included. Minutes from the wineries of Alexander Valley and downtown Healdsburg, Wildhaven gives Sonoma County weddings something rare: a place where the whole crew can stay together, fall asleep to the river, and wake up to another day of wedding festivities, riverside amenities, and activities.

Event Tent


Our private event tent is 20' x 40', with walls, doors, and propane heaters, built for a Sonoma County wedding rain or shine, day or night. Our event tent seats up to 50 (or 80 standing) for dinner, dancing.

Riverside Meadow

For ceremonies or receptions, our riverside meadow provides a beautiful backdrop for your big day.  The lawn seats more than 150 guests.

Our team makes it easy to bring your catering, floral, and décor vision to life. We'll share a list of preferred local caterers, florists, and décor partners who know the property inside and out, and we're happy to accommodate outside catering or food trucks with advance approval.


Wildhaven doesn't operate an on-site kitchen, so working with a caterer you love is simply part of the plan. We'll also help with event setup, and can arrange early or late check-in and check-out to fit your timeline...just ask our sales team.

  • Can I have a wedding at Wildhaven Sonoma?

    Yes! Wildhaven Sonoma is a wedding venue on the Russian River in Healdsburg, California. Our riverside meadow can host weddings of more than 150 seated guests.  And our 40 tents and 7 cabins offer 66 queen beds and 14 twin beds for overnight guests.


  • Is a buyout required for weddings at Wildhaven Sonoma?

    Any wedding taking place over a weekend requires a full property buyout — exclusive access to the river, camp store, decks, and grounds, with no other guests on site. Weekend buyouts run April through November with a 2-night minimum (a one-day Sunday buyout is also available). For a smaller wedding or ceremony held Sunday through Thursday, a buyout isn't required — you can book the event tent and grounds on their own, with just a 1-night minimum if you're staying overnight.

  • What catering options are available for weddings at Wildhaven Sonoma?

    Our team maintains a list of preferred local catering partners who know the venue well, and we're happy to accommodate outside catering or food trucks with advance approval — Wildhaven doesn't have an on-site restaurant or commercial kitchen, so working with an outside caterer is simply part of planning your day.
